Stage 1 complete
Finshed the install today. Torres true duals conversion kit, BS air cleaner, V&H ovals, and PCIII.
Sound - Not too loud or obnoxious. Sound is not as deep as I expected though. Finally sounds like a Harley.
Power - Seat of the pants says more. Throttle response is noticably better.
Idle - Smoother.
Heat - WAY LESS! This is the main reason I did the upgrade. I am VERY happy.
Torres - A great kit. Sure, it is expensive and I could have got a V&H true duals for not too much more. What I got was chrome with 2 new heat shields. The install looks great and it was reasonably easy. I did have to cut one of the stock heat shields per directions. Not too difficult. I got the kit for the 07 that came with O2 bungs. I plugged them for now. I got the bungs in case I want to use a different fuel controller or return to stock for some reason.
PCIII - simple quick download and install.
V&H ovals. They are beautiful!
BSair cleaner - nice chrome even though you can't see it unless I leave the stock cover off. Simple install.
J&S jack - can't imagine working on the bike without it. Raises 18", solid as a rock. Great jack!
Ifinally have the bike I always wanted. Runs perfect, sounds great, and it doesn't cook my nuts anymore.
