www.kbb.com is a good motorcycle value site. Most pay somewhere between trade-in and retail and make that handshake happen. I wish I had bought a used HD and saved a ton of money way back when! BTW, have you ever owned a black vehicle before? Just wondering about that...

Is this your first bike? If so, you might find it a handful, weight-wise. Have you take a safety course? Does the bike have maintenance records? Cam tensioners will be suspect after 30K miles. $15 K seems high for a bike that old although the mileage is low. Price seems a bit high to me. Especially this time of year,
