Spend the money on the HD stuff.............it's great and works great..............well worth the $$$.

That last thing you want is to skimp on rain gear and then have to use it and get soaked because is really is cheap crap.

I second the Harley gear. I have a heavier 2-piece (about $175 for the set) while my wife has a lighter suit (about $125) since she does not ride as much. The fit and level of dryness are great!

I agree, get a good set, which means don't buy the plastic stuff.

My wife and I have Dakota Power Trip (textile) riding jackets which are also waterproof with zip out quilted liners. We also have First Gear (textile) Overpants which are also waterproof with removable quilted liners. They are the most versatile sets of riding gear I have ever come across and you don't have to worry about keeping them away from hot engine parts either. They are rugged and warm. Lighter and and less bulky than chaps.

The HD Sets are good. Spend the money and get good ones. It is no fun if you spend the money and arewet.

We do have FroggToggs and they are great. They are great in the summer and they pack away very small.
