WOW.... and someone even came to look at it? Guess it is true, there is a lid for every pot. Can't believe 1940s technology would command that price. Maybe it is a museum piece with zero miles. I'd give a bunch to look at a bankers eyes when someone went for a loan.
Old Harley's only depreciate so much , You would be hard pressed to find any big twin any year for under 9 grand . If you really like the bike I would make sure compression is good and tranny , chain , sprockets are in good shape. Any thing that needs replaced I would deduct from the price , good luck.
Thanks for the posts and the help...07RoadGlide...thanks for the information.... Wiggly...I had not seen the bike at the time I posted this....so you were right as I did not have much information to get a good figure...
I couldn't give away my '80 FLT for $6800 after updating everything and painting. See the gallery photos. Honestly, I think you can do alot better unless you want that shovel. Personally, I wouldn't go back to the older bike after riding a newer one ...
I posted on your other topic, there are 2 here in my area that I have seen for 8000-8500, both look like new and have low miles and no one is jumping on them. Ithink 9 grand is high myself.
