Just checked out the video... not bad at all... and he only had the 1.75" baffles. (I would presume bigger baffles means louder noise... ??? Hence 2.5" baffles would be louder again?)
That one sounds nice, but didn't see all that loud, albeit he took the video from the front of the bike. Have you ever had the opportunity to compare your pipes to Rineharts? Which ones were louder? With the better sound?
IMO, Rush are a little louder than Rinharts. Rineharts definately are the flavor of the month around here. You can always remove the baffles and blow out your eardrums. Personally I felt the Rush sounded a little more tuned.
I don't really care too much about the flavour of the month thing... I just want my bike to sound like a loud pig! So you figure the Rush are louder? Would you agree with my take on that last video... that they didn't sound that great, but then the video was taken at the front?
I agree with your comments. At least you can tune the rush by buying replacement baffles or removing them completely. Rineharts are what you get. That'sit.
