I sold my 1985 Goldwing Interstate last year. It had just under 20 thousand miles. Selling price was 3,500.00. I had to wait almost 2 months for a new waterpump. Lots of plastic and a real bit*h to work on. Good reliable machine in the long run but boring if you want my opinion.
i didnt ask on the goldwing site, because when they hear that ive owned a bunch of harleys, they will probably be as defensive as some of the threads ive read here....
anyway mr. administrator, how about closing this thread before anyone else gets uptight! excuuse meee!
no need to ask, just look what everyone is writing.
There were only 3 issues that I have heard about the new wings. Overheating on earlier models: problem solved. Frames cracking on 02's: problem solved. The front tire cupping out by 4K miles, unsure if resolution was found.
Goldwings are like a toyota camry, dependable and smooth.
OK, I'll lock this thread before it goes South. If you want to continue your search on this topic there have been several of the exact same threads over the past couple of months. There was one with the exact same title floating around here a couple of weeks ago. Just go to the search function here and type in your title and see what you come up with. Enjoy whatever you decide to ride.
