What size of Allen wrench do I need to remove the fasteners on the windscreen of my 08 Ultra? I have tried everything I have and nothing is the correct size. Thanks.

Those should be T27 torx head bolts not allen head.
Once ya find the correct wrench, it is a bit easier to loosen MORE than just the three that go across the botto of the windshield. There are also four that go down each side of the fairing. If you loosen (dont remove) those, it makes it easier to spread the inner and outer fairing apart, when replacing the windshield.
there is only one torx bit in the tool kit, it is huge, will not fit the windshield, you will need to purchase or borrow a t27 torx driver, there are really only 3 sizes used on the bike regualrly, have thise 3 that I added to my tool kit, I would recomend that.....the tool kit is just for emergencies, they are really junk tools... I think they sell the kit for 99.00 about ten times what it is worth, for 199.00 they sell a Snapon tool kit, I purchased that one for my 08... what a difference...t has 3 torx driver sockets...
I am sure you have seen those "Swiss army knife" lookin things that have a multitude of allen wrenches on em. You can get the same sort of thing in torx.
I have one, and it has every size I have ever needed.
LOL! Try pulling the stem out of the screw driver and see what's on the other end. The bits also pull out of their holders, and they are double ended.
There are the four torx sizes you need, two flat screw driver, two phillips. The bits are pretty decent, imo, but the holders are cheap and will split with two much torque.
When first removing some of the torx fasteners, I was really surprised at how tight they were torqued down. A 5/16 ratcheting battery post wrench is just the right size to fit over the bit holder, keeping it from splitting, and letting you apply leverage while keeping the bit firmly in the head of the fastener.
