I like and use clearview, many on this forum do, they have what they call recurve, the top of the shield rolls slightly forward causing the air to push upward cutting down on the air above the windshield hitting your face or helmet... as far as height, yoou can go as tall as you want, on an ultra classic, stock is 12" many use a 9.5" tinted or even black at 6".... you can go taller than stock if you like.... make sure that you are either taller than the windshield when seated by an inch or more or shorter than the windshield by 2 inches, if it is at eye level, it is hard to stay above or below effecting your vision..
Thanks guys I will check both out mine hits me about the top of my nose I like to look thru it so I have to look down all the time...
I think the 15" would be just about right??
At 15", you'll be lookin' through the shield - not over it. They have shorter units, but ah LIKE the extry facial & eye protection afforded by the taller shield. Feel free to call an' talk to the owner - Allen Smith - he'll be happy to answer ANY question you might have. He's a good guy - ugly, but a good guy.
