Didn't mean for it be a funny, but no hissing, assuming you mean air intake leak.

No, fuel spraying out a hole in the pressure line inside the tank.

Mine shut down about a year ago. Tech stated the clamp on thehigh pressure line inside the tank had come loose. After the repair I was speaking with a buddy of mine, he stated he has heard of this issue before.
It took the tech about two hours to trace the problem.

Bike was left at dealership this AM. They don't know why it is doing it, and happened for them on the test ride. they tried several fixes that have occurred on other bikes, no go. And no code stored in the memory. So now the try will be to reset the hot/cool setting for the engine, has to be done after the bike has been shut down overnight (so they say). I'll post any updates I get from the the dealership tomorrow. For now the general manager gave me his 08 to ride for the night, beautiful bike, would include a pic but don't know how.

My 07 SG had the same problem it was also the (CPS) CRANKSHAFT POSITIONING SENSOR and had to be replaced. No codes were thrown either. After the replacement I never had another issue.

My bike also had this dying problem-may still since it does it out of the blue,many thousands of added miles between happenings,or can happen w/in the next mile-I changed the above mentioned sensor and it hasnt come back since early summer.Why it doesnt throw a code is odd,it should.Mine would do it while riding like at hwy speeds.Only way to restart bike was to get off the road before getting taken out,turn off ignition key switch,turn it back on and hit starter button.Some owners have had ignition switch replaced,switch on bar,said to have found poor grds,loose battery cables,had ecms replaced etc.Unless it codes or fails while at dealer-which is very rare-its just poke and hope.
