I was washing my 07EGC this evening and the mileage odometer lit up and had some kind of code on it. Something like dAl 9. What the heck was that? Anybody else have this happen.

 

It was trying to say...

DIal 911...

But died on you before it got the whole message out!

 

That code (or part of a code) does not appear on the list of '07 Trouble codes I have. If you want the pdf of all the codes, send me a PM with your e-mail address and I will send it to you.

 

thumbed thru e sm and did not see any dtc close to that. if it happens again write it down. Thanks for given me an excuse to look in the elect manuel. good luck

 

it said "diag"
hold your odo button in a turn the ignition on with run switch onand you will see the same thing..

you will also see your speedo sweep and all the lights in the speedo light up.

It is going through a diagnostics test. The "DIAG" is in goofy letters like some in upper and lower case.
