Default Siren on 07 Ultra

Today I put my bike on the jack to add some electrical things. When I disconnected the neg batt cable, the siren went off on the security sys! Any ideas why or how to stop. Could not figure out from manual. I checked thebatts in key fobs - OK

Reconnect battery! Then reset alarm!... then remove siren before disconnecting battery again!

Going back in the memory cells - pretty sure the siren is supposed to go off when the battery is disconnected, it has is own power supply. If I remember correctly from when I installed the siren, the procedure was to disarm the security system first (turn on the ignition with your fob nearby), then pull the maxi fuse (located under the left side panel). Reverse by putting in maxi fuse with ignition still in on position.

I'll try the maxi fuse procedure. I may have justdone the wrong order. Today I also pulled the maxi fuse prior tothe neg cable& thesiren went off.

I think the key to the procedure is disarming the security system - then pulling the fuse. Good luck!

Siren has been silenced! I was not disarming system first before pulling the maxi fuse or neg bat cable. New electronics going on nicly now. My neighbors are so happy for this forum!

Manual says you have to disarm the alarm then remove the BIG maxi fuse before disconnecting the battery or the alarm will go off!!!!!!!!!!
