Default big motor

I'm sure everyone has seen the videos of the dudes doing burn outs and wheelies on road glides and ultras, and i was wondering what kind of builds do these guys have, my bike runs pretty good and it will burn out but I saw a feller smoke itfor 200 yards, and they just twist the throttle and the pipes are draggin the road. Maybe you never get enough HP but I sure would like to have a glide that ran like these

It all depends on the rider and how much confidence he has in doing things like that.Years ago My 93" Shovel would bake the tire that far, with the motor tripping the rev limiter. My new bikes with much bigger motors would certainly do more. Now it's more about hanging the front wheel. The acceration rate is addicting.

Not impressed by bagger burnouts/wheelies. Nothing like the brute feel of big inch stroker power/torque.

Currently at 103", 112 hp and 115 tq and the bike will do that long smking burnout if I wished, but Donny is right, stump pulling torque, that is what I am after. Going to 113" inches and somewhere in the vicinity of 130/130 or better. Doing a HQ build - you can never have enough power !

I have no idea---that being said some guys that I ride with have 07 RGs stage 1 and seem to burn out at will---others with 07s can't seem to get anything on the ground.

One RG with a 95 build slides sideways---but he has excellent control and demonstrated skill.

The Dunlops seem to spin easier than some other tires. My Metzlers are harder to break loose.

I'm not looking to do big burnouts or wheelies but I just want enough motor to do it if I could, I see these guys on RG's (on the internet) just grab a bunch of throttle and the front tire is pointed the moon.

Got a Jim's 120, 134.57 horse and 139.64 foot pounds. Can stand the front end up and do brakeless burnouts at will. 6k on engine and haven't touched it.

124" bagger will burn the tire without to much trouble, and is an exellent motor for two up riding.A 155" bagger will melt the tire by just rolling on the throttle.Actually so much torque you have to be very aware until get used to it,especially in turns and rain. With the right drivetrain(one sturdy enough you don't have to worry about) and a seat you can stay on,the 155" has the capacity to make frequent underware changes mandatory.
