I have the wiley x's with transitional lens. I ended up also buying some dark and some clear lenses from ebay. I don't think the transitionals get dark enough on very bright sunny days, noticed I was squinting alot. Also, they are not as clear as regular clear lenses at night. I still use the transitionals occasionally. It takes about 10 seconds to change out the lens.

Another vote for PanOptix. I went to the dealer a couple weeks ago and tried on about 12 pairs and checked which fit best. I ended up with Pans and have worn them on every ride since. They are simply awesome. Shellout and get the good ones. You'll love em!

I wanted to buy the transitional lenses, but I really didn't spend the money. So, I bought a pair of WileyX SG-1's on ebay for $51.00, delivered. They had the tinted and clear lenses, along with a case. They worked well, so after I managed to break the original frames, I bought two more SG-1 frames on ebay for less than $10.00 a piece. Now, I have two pair of SG-1's ready to go for less than the retail price of one pair....

I have the Wileys day/nightsand the Panoptx day/nights I would buy the Panoptx .... Iactually love a par of body gloves, they allow more periferal vision than any of the day/nights.... if you desire day /nights Panoptix are the best that I have found....

I got the Wiley's. Like some others, I went through my eye doctor and was able to get 2 pairs, 1 for day and 1 for night. I have pretty good insurance so I got both of mine with my rx in the glasses for around $300. I would agree, next to a helmet, this is the most important safety item to have.

I got my Panoptx raptors at Vegas Bikefest. I have seen the guy at Laughlin also he may hit all the rallies. I paid 100 for the frames which are for big melons. I took them down to another guy and had prescription day and night lenses for 160. The transition from the prescription guy get clearer at night and darker at day. When the sun is low in the sky and riding towards it they aren't dark enough. The fit is great and the removable eye cup is great.

ORIGINAL: IceHeritage

Come on Papa lets us know which Glasses you have that is for the LARGE DOME People
Alright, I maight be a day late a dollar short, sort of speak. The pair I have is made by body spec. I don't know the particular style, but this style is what fit. And, as far as my head is concerned, some of ya'll might have a bigger noggin. I measured my head and it came to 24.5", and I wear a xxl acc half helmet, if that gives you any idea. Like I said, I love the glasses. Hope this helps.

I went to the dealer today and tried on a few different pairs..........and I ended up getting the Panoptx. As soon as I put them on, they just felt right.......they fit great, they sealed good, and they were very comfortable. I went with the Vortex model with day/night lenses in them.....$139, same price as I found them for online and I didn't have to then pay shipping or tax.

Thanks for all the replys.

Steve
