spent much of Biketoberfest stalking other bikes and listening to pipes. wife and i both agree that we want the low hollow rumble of the Rinehart slip-ons.contacted my fave place Zanottis and they give me a reference for the pipes that has three choices but none look like the pipes we saw. all the pipes we saw had a blk cap on the end-the choices im seein on thios site are for: Sleepers -Dresser Dogs-- and Bad Dogs. how do i know which pipes we were seeing/hearing all weekend?????????
also -is zanotti's my best price (398.00) shipped or is there another source to check out???
What you were seeing with the Black End Caps Are the Rinehart True Duals the Slip Ons are muffler only and do not look the same as the True Duals that you were seeing.

Other than a slight difference in diameter (the true dual mufflers are a bit larger) which would be pretty hard to discern visually, the slip-ons and the true dual mufflers look identical. Both have the black end caps with the Rinehart script in white (although you can get chrome end caps for them).
Be mindful that there will be a slight difference in sound between the RH true duals and the RH slip on mufflers because the header pipes on the true duals are stepped pipes.
I like the sound of my True Duals - I heard a lot of different bikes during Biketoberfest and still like the way mine sound. I guess I am saying best money I have spent so far........
