Been doing some research. Seems that the bugs are getting worked out of these systems. Reading both reviews leads me to the Interphone system even though it is more expensive. I haven't purchased anything yet. Check out these reviews for yourself.

This is the latest in bluetooth technology... version 2.0 bluetooth supports higher bandwidth.... so you can have music or talk to your passenger, wireless.

Read this review.

Seems like the technology is in the early stages. All 3 units from Scala, Interphone, and now Camos have theirpros and cons. I can see myslf spending the $ this year and then having to turn around and do it again next. The reviews are mixed for all 3 units.

We have the Scala Rider "Team Set" too. I really like it. It is primarily a rider / passanger intercom (bluetooth), but as was mentioned above, it can be paired with a phone. I also have a Zumo 550 and have my phone and headset paired with the Zumo, so it also allows you to make or accept phone calls if ya want. One cool thing is that caller ID info displays on the Zumo screen and you can answer or ignore the call by touching a button on the Zumo touch screen. All the while, the phone is in a saddlebag...... pretty sweet!
Thanks guys. Is this a good deal? And is it what you have?

Just go with the best and be done with it. Still own one that I have moved bike to bike. You can either use a 9v or direct power. The other post is right you get what you pay for.

I have the Nady MRC-11x. Decent setup for low cost. Its not PERFECT. It may get you through your trip and let you evaluate what qualities you want. I am able to pump in my MP3 player for both riders can hear.

Not bad.. I only use it for those people who don't have a system on their bike and join us.

I bought the Scala Rider Q2 headset (Multi-set). I have to say, I didn't expect it to work very well but it works awesome! I paid like $250 for the two pack on amazon.com. We use them as rider to rider in lieu of 2up but of course 2up would work. It syncs with your phone and GPS units too. It also has the cable included (at least in the Q2, but not the others from what I understand) for the MP3 players.

The headset has a bracket that goes to your helmet and you slide the unit in to that. I have a 9" shield, half helmet and it was still very clear even with the wind.

The one thing I was sure was going to be a disappointment became one of the purchases I was most pleased with in recent times as far as accessory items go. I highly recommend it. Be sure it's the Q2 as it has the most goodies (if you need goodies).

Oh yeah, the range rider to rider was about 500m as claimed. We tested it out.
