Beware ! Anyone using the fairing mount with the HD Road Tech Conquest this mount
is pure crap. I went over some railroad tracks and the whole unit came out of the mount.
I actually caught it before it became roadkill! My first thought was I did not seat it correctly
so I turned around and went over the tracks again. You guessed it, it came off again.
I now have a tether attached to the unit and most likly will purchase the handle bar mount.
On a positive note the unit itselfperforms great, no regrets.
Iwas told told by a few friends thatthe GPS falls out of the mount and now that I think about it they all have the fairing mount. My dealer steered me away from the fairing mount. He said he had one on his bike and it kept loosing up and losing the power connection so he switched to the handlebar mount.

Ride Safe, Ride Often
Must be something wrong with your mount. I've had one on my Ultra for over 14,000 miles and hit plenty of potholes and hard railroad crossings and made many trips with it. It's never tried to come loose. I have a friend that's going on 2 years and 20+K miles and he's never had a problem with his. It takes a pretty good effort for me to pull it loose after I push on the release. Your spring could be weak. I'd try to get a new mount from Garmin if Harley won't take care of it.
