My leather jacket has a zip in/out liner. I stitched the wiring to the outside of the liner (between the liner & the jacket). I'll only need the heated gloves when I need the liner, so I can remove the liner & wires when the weather is nice. Gerbings makes a pair of gloves that are battery heated, they are really light & have 3 heat ranges, adjusted by push button through a window on the outside of the gloves. I believe they run $179. a pair.
