I just happen to have $72 store credit at HD and would love to do this this weekend...

Yes. Follow the link in Phat96's post in this thread and it will lay it out for you. Works good for a budget solution to lowering and leveling the fender.

Forget working on your own bike, How about getting to work and manufacture your new brackets for my fairing. Many people here need your replacement/fix bracket and you are screwing around making your own bike look good. Forget this and get back to work and introduce them new superior brackets for all of us with them pesky broken brackets! PLEEEAEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZE?
Big-Joe and Fast Eddie, welcome you guys and your crew put out some unbeliveable baggers. Thank you for that. I bought the brakets from HD because some times I can't go backwards and pay again for what I have already paid for. Paint that is. I hope these brakets go on as easy as they say and I don't screw anything up. But it is part of all the fun.
Hi Im new here and have a 2009 road king classic as well as a 2008 rocker c
My question is what has been done to thus road king puctured here? It sits just right
Thank you
Eddie;2399507]Here's my Road King Custom with the Native Custom Baggers bracket on an 18" wheel. Same fender as Street Glide. Besides hugging the tire the fender is cleaner as you eliminate the rivets showing on the outside of the fender. The only thing I would add to mBigWheel Bobs comments is that Iplaced a bead of marine sealant where the new bracket joins the fender to prevent any water intrusion and rust between the new bracket and fender. Since my front end is lowered an inch this 1" lowering of the fender restored the factory distance between the brake line splitter and top of fender.
