I have recently fitted a Fullsac kit to my Evo. It is a cheap way of seeing if true dualsworkas well as looking good. My local dealer has just finished setting it up for me, so I haven't ridden it far yet. First impressions are great!
For readers outside North America Fullsac won't ship abroad - I had to get the kit sent to family in the US for them to forward it to me. Sometimes a man has to do what a man has to do....
I bought Fullsac 4.0 Slash mufflers with the Techmat option for $459 plus the other two sets of baffles @ $159 each for my 2015 Street Glide (S&S headers, Cyclerama 575 cam, SE controller, Kury aircleaner). The 1.75" baffles are the quietest but the 2.0"s are not much louder and have a deeper more pleasant tone. The 2.25"s are too loud and also lose a bit of torque; overall, the 2.0"s wrapped with stainless steel wool sounds just right (no drone; deep but not loud) and provides excellent performance. I like their product; their mufflers are great, sound good, and make good power BUT... one of the baffles is slightly deformed and requires removing the muffler and beating it in or out with a hammer; the other five baffles slide easily in or out without removing the mufflers (& takes only a few minutes to change). I called asking for a replacement and calmly explained the problem. The lady at Fullsac was very unpleasant, said they should be tight, saw no problem with having to remove the muffler and using a hammer & ram rod, and insisted that I buy a replacement baffle if I was not satisfied. The beauty of these baffles is that they can be changed quickly & easily by hand using only an allen wrench without removing the mufflers but she didn't seem to appreciate that so... after spending $650 w/shipping for their entire muffler package she squeezed me for an additional $85.89 for one baffle to replace their defective one. This is poor customer service and is not acceptable. Shame on you ma'am.
Recently installed the 2" kit purchased from a member that changed his mind. Given the finish of the chrome slash tips, imo full price is toooo much. The tips are thin rolled metal and you can see the seam/joint on one of the tips through the ok chrome finish. Charging a little more and using a billet or better quality tip would be better. Or, charging a little less for what they are now.
Agree that changing them out is easy with a few hard twists and turns using a rubber strap wrench. And the oem mufflers look completely different, in a good way.
The 2" are nice at cruising speed, low rumble. At slight throttle they do get louder, but not much. Going up a grade or accelerating they are a bit too loud for the wife and I. Interesting you say the 1.75" are very close the the 2". Thought about looking for a used 1.75" set, may be not worth it.
I also loosely packed them using a homegrown wire mesh, packing material, and also left the oem material installed. Its very thin and probably does nothing for sound, only for heat.

With an open header on a TC the 2" baffle will be the best performer and the lowest/mellow sound. You won't like the blatty sound of the 1.75"
Kumaride, This evening I hacksawed 1/2 of the way through my 2" Fullsac baffles and inserted a piece of sheetmetal from an old license plate blocking 2/3 of the open center tube. This is about 10" from the end, took about ten minutes per muffler, and a dab of JB Quick epoxy was used to hold the sheet metal in place. I then re-wrapped coarse stainless steel wool (from Amazon) around the entire length of the baffle. We went for a short 40 mile ride and the sound is not loud; but is deep; and I cannot feel a power loss. There probably is a horsepower loss at high RPM but my wife & I rarely exceed 4000 and usually ride between 2000-3000. There is a noticeable increase in torque; the loudness is akin to stock mufflers but much deeper and also with much better for throttle response & power. We've bought (& subsequently sold) supposed "quiet" touring mufflers from Vance & Hines (Turndowns), S&S (Big Louies), & Kerker (? name), all were obnoxiously loud and droned at highway speeds. The Fullsacs have been the best for us (two 60-somethings who ride long miles).
BTW, like checkers said, the 1.75"s have a more raspy, higher pitched sound than the 2.0s but are slightly quieter. I installed Snuff-R-Nots in the 2.25s and they were still way too loud. We prefer quiet & deep; the 2.0s (especially now modified) are best.
