my insurance went up to 1200 for just my 07 ultra and was 800....its thru progressive...anywhere cheaper....i have a clean driving record also.no claims.
I am also with Progressive. Was $800 last year...went down to $650, renewed last month. Go figure.
i'm with progressive but got it through hd. it was cheaper than going straight through progressive. try giving them a call and see what they do. i pay 600 year, for 2 2007 road king customs.
I pay $429 a year with Rider in New Jersey. This is full coverage on an 07 Ultra. I have a clean record and my age is 48. Now my truck thats another story![:@]

Interesting, makes me glad I'm with Progressive. As AtkRWC said, my rate with Progressive has fallen each year for the last three years. My agent told me if I lived outside the Charlotte, NC metropolitan area, my rate would be half what it is.
I think the keys are going to be your driving record, credit score, where you live and how good your agent is. For me the most beneficial thing was stumbling across a good agent, he is a rider also and has a staff who also rides. They understand what we all go through and they work to find the best value which is not always the cheapest price.
One more bit of info I found out when we were shopping for a policy for a car my son bought last spring. If you have a traffic violation and your motorcycle insurance and you car insurance are with different companies, you'll take the hit for higher rates on both policies. But if your coverage for both vehicles is with the same company, they only charge you with the violation for one of the vehicles. That is something my previous agent never expalined to me and I had been with them since I started driving in 1972.
Be very careful of LOW rates - a lot of them do NOT have UIM Coverage... I will NOT ride with out it... I have Progressive Drive - Geiko is a few bucks cheaper.... maybe next year....
