I've rode in all types of weather with my lowers on, I've got a set of black lowers complete off my '04 ultra with the Hoppe vents in them I will be selling this winter. They also have a quick disconnect kit for the lowers, I found them listed on eglide goodies website.

 

This from a guy who doesn't know the difference between plural and possesive, says "Gotta", and capitalizes every word in a sentence. Yeah, we sure are dumb around here.

They're awesome...I also remove the sliders when it gets real hot.. Also like the added storage.
