My son and I rode the UC over to my dad's today. I stopped and told him to get off. I didn't notice my left foot was on loose asphalt. As my son started off, my foot started to slip and she started to lean. I held it as long as I could, but was unable to get it upright. I hit the kill switch and then laid her on down. Stepped off and grabbed the left handlebar and saddlebag guard and walked it up, just as on the Ride Like A Pro video. It works. Amazing how a 900 pound bike can come up so easy. I looked her over and didn't even find a scratch, just a little bruised pride.
My son did a great job. I have taught both of my boys if something happens to tuck their feet in and ride it out, rather than trying to jump off and get caught in the bike. He sucked up and stayed put until I told him to get off.
droped my streetglide in my sandy driveway last saturday .the problem is the streetglide doesn,t have the grab bar in front of the saddle bag nothing to get a hold of it was a handful trying to get it back up kinda like picking up a dead cow !!!!!!!!!!
