It was 75 degrees here today and I just got home from a 200 mile ride. I live in between three military bases and I don't see how someone can spend a day like today and not thank God and our veterans for this great country in which we live. My lord Jesus Christ said, "No greater love has a man than to lay down his life for his friends." Many have done just that ... so I would like to take this opportunity to thank the veterans of this country that have so unselfishly served so that we may continue to enjoy the freedoms that God has blessed us with. We can live, think, speak, write, congregate and worship freely without fear of retribution because of our veterans.
We appreciate, honor and respect your service. Thank you veterans for all that you have done and godspeed to those in Iraq for a safe return.[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

I went for a 100+ mile ride today. Out on the rural highways and back roads, to try to remember some good times and try to forget some bad times. Some of us came home, some are still trying. USN 68/69
