Default New Ride

Well, I have had my 2012 Ultra Classic for 8 days now, and am in absolute love. After being off of a bike for 15+ years i was a little leary of it, but the Ultra Classic is what Momma wanted. I can't imagine riding anything else! I look forward to all the knowledge from you guys and gals on here. I am active duty military, currently at Ft Riley, KS but moving to Detroit Arsenal on May 1st.

Welcome, enjoy the new ride and take it easy getting back into riding.

I did the the same rode up until the early 80s and then 20 yr off . Started again in 2004 and love it.

I started riding motorcycles when I was 8 years old. I rode for over 20 years then took a 25 year break.
I am in love once again. HAVE FUN and be careful.

Alot of members have done the same thing--taking time off for kids and career and then returning to riding. I mean no offense to your riding skills but taking a Riders Edge or other Motorcycle Safety Foundation course as a refresher on accident avoidance maneuvers is not a bad idea. Just a thought.

More importantly, congratulations on the new ride. Ride safe!
