You're all right - Road Glides SUCK
Went for a ride today cause I had a free afternoon. Stopped at my local dealer to talk to my buddy and mentioned that I liked the 08 RG they had on the floor. He offered to let me take a test ride and since I had heard all the buzz about them around here, I took him up on it. I was disgusted (really impressed) with how it rode! The steering was heavy and sluggish (light and nimble) the handling was terrible (WOW!) and the visibility was almost non existant (a LOT better than I expected). I'm really glad I rode it, because now I know that I would never own one of those fugly (freakin awesome) bikes!!!

They sure do SUCK. I am really a slow learner. Bought one in 02 and then got ride of the piece of crap... What did I do shortly afterwards ? Bought another one.. dumb ****.. Ya know, I may jest buy another one too... One day I may learn although I really doubt it lol. You're going ta love it.

Well, you got my sympathy. Damn sorry to hear you had such a lousy afternoon on one of those pieces of crap. Sounds like things are lookin' up for tomorrow though...................

My wife had been steering me away from the HD shop because of that very reason. Then the other day she told me that if it meant more comfort she would go for it. As long as I didn't put a lot into after I bought it. I told her that this bike has it all already, no need to add to it. I am not sure if she bought it but it got me so excited that I almost wet myself. Now I just have to sell mine.
