Go figure, I put around 5k on my new glide this summer with no real problems. I put it away for theseason, changed the lube in all 3 holes................and now I have a leaker!!! The bike sits on the stand with the front a little lower and I guess the trans fluid has flooded the shift cable area causing it leak. I've heard of some issues of leakage due to a damaged Oring or bad crimp on the cable but I'm inclined to think that this might of been caused by the the angle at which it sits on the stand causing the area to be flooded with oil. I'll keep you posted on what I find.

Streeter: I have an 07 ultra and juwt noticed the other day that there is oil all over my clutch cable and frame just in front of the connection with the transmission. I will get it checked by dealer soon. It might be from when they serviced the bike and either spilled oil when draining or installing oil. Other thought was that it was overflow from cable lubrication. Just my observations....Bldr
