Anyone ever experience oil leaking from the adjuster nuts on their clutch cable? Any idea why this would be happening and what needs to be done to correct it? Thanks.
Are you sure that the oil is from the cable, or it is from another source, such as melted greese from the steering.
I am very interesting in what the real problem is.
Let us know!

2010 SG, when I changed the bars I had to go with a 4 inch longer cable. I hung the stock cable up in the garage and noticed that there was a small puddle of oil on the ground form the cable. I think that some oil going up inside of the cable is normal. The cable is sealed to the trans cover with an oring but there is no seal to keep out oil from the inside of cable.
Don't knowthe year of bike your talking, but if someone lubed the cables with Harley Lube, you inject it from the top and it has to run down the cable which ,if too much is in there can come out the bottom where the adjuster is.

check your tranny vent, if a wasp ( yes, really) or gunk blocks it, the expanding lube will look for a way to go, such as up the cable.
not uncommon.

This makes sense as the fluid is consistent with the Pepto Bismol pink of the Redline gear oil I'm running in the transmission. Question is, where is the tranny vent?

On my bike it's right next to the starter on top of the tranny. It's sort of an S shaped rubber hose that's open on one end.
