Be sure to pack them well so none of the fins can get bent or break. One way is to get a length of 1x12 (approx 24" ~28") and use two bolts to bolt each head down and the same for each cylinder. You can then pack each board (w/cargo) into a box and fill it w/crumpled newspaper very well.

The "easy-install" rods are easier to install. The "adjustables" have to go in from the top, before you bolt the rocker assy back down ~ like the stock solid rods.
