I use 6th when I hit over 60 mph, usually around 65 mph or above. My bike loves running 60 mph in 5th.

Air cleaner, exhaust, PCIII, dyno. Woke the bike up. 6th gear anytime cruising over 60mph now.

Mine runs just fine @ 65 in 6th gear. It's turning 2200 - 2300 and rollon's allow me to accelerate pretty fast. I'm going for a fatcat 2-1 here soon with a race tuner and a dyno. That ought to wake her up!

6th gear for the freeway at 70+. Bike is smooth as silk at 2600 RPMs even better now with IDS.

The Stage 1 110kit makes quite a bit of difference in low RPM pull power according to the dealership up here.

i have a stretch of road that lasts about 12 miles with a 65mph speed limit, so i run it about 70-72 (okay, 75). i use 6th every day i ride. the other 13 miles range from 35 to 55 so i run 3rd to 5th there, i listen to the engine, and upshift/downshift so that it stays at a rpm that it sounds happy at. i dont understand these folks that want to go from 1 to 6 immediately and never downshift.....

Flat roads @ 65MPH = 6th gear. I use it a lot.

I save 6th for 70+MPH.....I love the way there is almost no engine braking at that point. When I come off the throttle a bit, she just glides along. At speeds over 70MPH 6th is perfect.....not a overdrive (on the 08's) at 1:1 but its a hell of a cruise gear......and now I find myself hunting for 6th on my SE Deuce.....but that dam thing loves to rev so much....its no problem wringing her out a bit.
