Default Shipping Costs
Hey guys...newbie here. For my 40th birthday I am going to Vegas for a week with my family popping in and out all week. In an effort to not loose my entire fortune , I am thinking about shipping my Road King toVegas for some fun. Does anyone have any idea of the costs to ship a bike from Chicago to Vegas and back? Thanks in advance for your help!

I am willing to bet it would be a LOT more to ship your bike than to rent one.

Its starting to get cold here for locals, but you being from Chicago it may be nice for you. Alot of nice riding in this area.

I bet you could do an Internet search and get it shipped $400 each way-

$800 bucks total, and risking theft, scratches, or delivery delays.

You can probably rent whatever model you want for $149-$200 a day.

With my HOG membership I can rent a touring bike for $100 a day...thinking renting is the way to go. Still searching shipping costs tho...

Not worth it. You have to give it up a week to a week and a half before you ship it and then maybe as much time getting it back after your vacation. Do a fly and ride thru HD. Better rental rates too.

Rent one. You can rent a diffrent model everyday if you want to. No worries, just take out the insurance and have fun.
