High Performance Headlamp Bulb
Im sure many have wanted to upgrade the headlamp bulb for better night vision. I just upgraded mine to the High output headlamp bulb from HD and it is awesome! Very good spread of white light. My car has HID bulbs and Id say the light the performance bulb puts out is pretty comparable. I was thinking of upgrading to HID for the bike too but now find it is not necassary. The cost was $ 29.95 and part # is 6704-02. Get one...cheap and effective upgrade.

I would have to strongly recommend NOT purchasing the Silverstar. I went through two of them just this summer. They didn't burn out, they can't seem to handle the vibration. I talked to the guy at the parts store about my troubles. It wasn't news to him. He's heard from others with the same problem. Too bad because the light output was fantastic...until you loose both elements during a night ride! Put the OEM back in and it still works fine.

You can also try Auto Zone for a H4 SilverStar # H4ST.
Not sure of the price,but can't be too high.I think under 30 bucks.

You have a typo.
The correct HD part number is: 67074-02
It is not an auto bulb,it is for motorcycles and designed to withstand the vibration and rough roads. Most auto bulbs will fail in a short time due to vibration.
