I feel for you.
It was a chilly 72 here in So. Cal. but due to family stuff, no riding.
Going to put about 400 miles on the bike tomorrow. Riding out to Yuma, AZ.
I feel your pan. 4 inches of snow and the streets are icey. I think I'm going into withdrawals. It is so hard to beleive we were riding last week. Got the UC Stabilized, charger on, and under cover. Hopefully not for too long. So envious of all of you who can still ride.
I woke up this morning here in central Michigan to a balmy 13 degrees at 6:00 a.m. Miss being on my scoot BIG TIME!! Hot shower and cup of coffee and I'll head for the woods for some Bambi hunting. I'd give up a lot of my other hobbies just to be able to ride year 'round.
Here in NC it was in the 70'. I lived in Northwest Indiana for my 1st 26 years on this earth and have live in Calif and NC the last 26. Guess where I like it best. The only time I do not ride is when my bike is in the garage for an upgrade. Very few days the weather is bad enough not to ride.
Rode Monday & Tuesday, the high was near 70, Snowed Wednesday nite, Yesterday and today, the highs going to be in the 30's. Call me whatever, I will just polish and polish some more, like someone else said, now is the time to fine tune the detailing and the mods.
Just another idea for those with winter setting in. I woke up today with about an inch of snow on the ground! Anyway, the wife has been telling me to sort through the ton of tee shirts I have and get rid of the old ones. Soooo........Here is what I came up with. I took the ones with holes in them and cut the dealer logo out of the back. Wrapped that around some thick cardboard and stapled the back side so it stretches over the cardboard. Now I have a neat "sign" to hang in the garage.
Kind of neat way to make the garage look a little better and pass some of that boring winter time
It snowed for 25 hours here in Central Ontario..This sucks--but we all knew it was coming--the real pi$$er is my new Ultra is still on the same tank of fuel it came with from the dealer
Oh well--May is a few short months away. Guess I can ride the snow blower
I guess I am done too for the year. We had a couple of inches here in Wi. and they threw down enough salt for a blizzard. There are piles at all the intersections! No rain in the forecast to wash it away. Time to clean, clean, and clean! To all of you who are out there stillriding: Next time you go to the local saloon on your bike, have a toast for all of us whocan't! Thanks.
