Sears Torque wrenches
it doesn't surprise me one bit. every since K-MART bought SEARS, their service has gone down the drain
K-Mart buying Sears was a surprise. I'm sure K-Mart execs will find a way to start sinking Sears. Of course, if it weren't for their tools, I figured they'd been going down a long time ago.
Better know the price before you go there or you'll end up paying more.
I don't know if they all do this or just this one.
I also notice that the quality of their tools is not as good as it was too.
I also bought a refrig there years back because they advertise "brand central" so I gave it a try. Ended up getting a damaged one delivered that the handles were yellowed ,maybe a floor model and the they said that they can't pick up this unit up till next week.
After they got a bit snotty, I told them when they come to pick it up, they will find it at the curb. I was told I can't do that but I replied that I'm not storing their refrig for them till they get the chance to pick it up and that I will have a new on in my house before the end of the day. They took it back the same day and I found the exact same unit for $128 less with no delivery charge like sears charges elsewhere.
Beware of Sears, it's not the store it once was!
After hearing on this forum about the sale on torque wrenches at Sears, I ordered 2. well that was 2 days ago and I just rec'd an Email that the order would be cancelled do to high demand for the items. Just does't seem right, why offer an item that can't be delivered? Very disappointed with Sears....
