When and why did kickstand become jiffystand? I mean, when your kid comes smoking up the driveway on their mountainbike, yeah, the one you just paid good money for, and they do a moving dismount and the bike augers into the concrete, do you yell "Hey, get yer butt over here, pick this bike up and use the damn JIFFYSTAND?" Hell no! I don't care what the MOCO says, it's KICKSTAND!
Jiffystand. Hell, that sounds like something you put on a Goldwing so it doesn't tip over while you are trying to find reverse, adjust the air conditioning, and put sugar in your coffee, all at the same time. Or....perhaps a male enhancement gizzmo, but that's a whole 'nuther thread.
