08 Ultra ABS Problems
Just purchased an 08 Ultra (105th), I'm having issues with the ABS system (only 675 miles). Usually, when I start the bike the ABS light flashes, at 3 mphthe light goes off.According to theowners manual, the system is working correctly. Got it out yesterday and rode around the block, the ABS light did not flash, it stayed on the entire time. For some reason, the light has a mine of it's own, sometimes it flashes, sometimes it dosen't, sometimes it comes on and flashes when I'm riding, sometimes it stays on the entire time. Think it's time for a trip to the local dealership.Anyone else have these problems???

If the light stays on after above 3 mph....the ABS system is not working. You have regular brakes but no ABS if you get into a problem. Run it over to the dealer and let him check the codes for the ABS fault light staying on.
You can do it yourself through the speedometer/odometer readout for trouble codes but you need an electrical Diagnostics manual to work you through the steps of retrieval and clearance of the codes.
