Default Ram-Mount for GPS Navigation Systems

Well, I already know what one of my Christmas gifts is from the wife.
She has gone and purchased me the TOMTOM GO 720 GPS Navigation Unit.

Several Questions I have:

1) Has anyone purchased the brake/clutch ram-mount for their ride to house the GPS unit?
http://www.ram-mount.com/mount/tomto...720_mounts.htm

If you have used a mount like this. Do you like it? What is the pro's and con's that you have had with this unit.

2) I know that the GPS unit my wife has purchased for me is NOT WATER PROOF. We dont have that kind of money to buy a Zumo 550 that is. Zumo price here at Best Buy was $899.99. Wife was able to get the TomTom GO 720 gps for $349.00..
So my question then is; has anyone use a water box mount for their GPS unit? Do you like it? What is the pro's and con's that you have had with this type of mount.

I have never really thought that we needed a GPS unit, until this past year. We had taken some trips earlier this year to different states to visit friends. I will admit that we had gotten turned around a few times (LOST).And yes, had asked for directions a few times, and gotten even more(LOST).

3)Here is a link to the unit my wife purchase for me.

I know that everyone will have a different preference for a GPS that they like or would like to have. For those that do have one, and use them on their bike, and have them mounted. Do you have any vibration problems with the unit sitting up there? Or reading the screen?

Thank you, and looking forward in reading the responses

Ram mounts are great but a little pricie - I went with this one off of E-Bay and it works with my GPS & other things as well... Nicest thing it's $9.99 + shipping
