Need some info.....
Will a 1997-2007 Road King seat fit a 2008? 
I have been told that they do not but no one can tell me why.

So far I've only found the two that Harley makes and one Corbin I saw at the Galveston Rally, I gave up my old Geezer air Zep seat that didn't fit (and was told by the stealer it should) and have yet to find a comfy seat for the 08 Ultra.

The pre 08 seats have a tab on the front of the seat that slides into a slot on the back of the fuel tank. The 08 seats have a slot on the front of the seat that the tab that is on the back of the fuel tank slides into. I'll bet that some creative individual with a spare seat could create a stiff plastic slot in an old seat and make something work.
