Ignition Lock Help
I removed the ignition cover to remove my inner fairing cap and was reassembling it and was tightning the 7/8 inch nut and gave it a lil extra muscle and snapped that pastic stem right off anybody know whatI have to do now and how expensive the parts are and how much work is involved? any help is appreciated. didn't know it was cheap plastic. Thanks in advance
read the manual guess I have to replace the whole ignition switchhousing, 2 allenscrews and a plug under the radio anybody out there have a spare 1 that would work on a 2003?

If all you need it the ignition then you dont have to get anything "re-keyed" the key portion will work on any ignition (lower portion).
Also here are the part # and price, so if you add them all up it is about 200$...very close to the 175$ that i earlier estimated. LOL now leohd

on a 2003 switch number is 71640-99 thats all I cracked not the ignition key spacers washer nutetc etc I even gorilla glued it back together but now I'm haveing problems aligning the tumblers. I miss my ol shovelhead
