I rode the Trace all the way from Nashville to Natchez back in 2003. Great ride, just watch the speed limits.

I own 6 1/2 acres outside of Leiper's Fork right off of Natchez Trace. Nice ride, can't wait to get out of New Jersey and get back home.

Hey MB:

I live in Nashville and have rode the trace on this end. Forecast for Sat, Sun is scattered showers and clouds. However, most rain should be North of you.

Ride Safe.

We did the Trace back in August. Be Very Careful with the soeed limit. 50 mph. The entire length of the Trace is a National Park. A Federal ticket is very expensive. Take two days to ride the Trace. Stop often to see the sights, the original trace, the indian mounds, etc. Some of the Trace can be boring. Lots of deer and turkeys.

I rode the Natchez Trace with a group of coworkers (7 bikes) last summer and we had a blast. The northern half from Tupelo to Nashville is the best. Lots of historical and scenic stops along the way. We took a short side trip off the trace to Davy Crockett State Park in Tennessee that was worth the time.

We liked eating at Loveless Cafe just outside the northern end of the Trace, great biscuits!

Here are a couple of pictures take on our trip.
