Hey, I just turned 55. The tour bikes are meant for us!

I've never regretted taking any of my trips, but the ones I remember the most are the ones that were a challenge! 50-60 degree weather is the norm for much of our Mn riding season!

Wind? What wind? Check out my signature picture....That's also the norm for SW Mn !

Easy trip. Going over Grapevine will get a tad cold. So layer for it.

If you dont do it now....when will you do it???? You got the time, you got the bike.....and it seems you got the most important thing...your health....so why not. I dont get it......I bet you would be hard pressed to come up with any good reasons you shouldn't go.

Don't do the grapevine... much better routes to get there with much better scenery.

Ask around on here for a route... lots of ideas. Freeway is about 6 (ok 7 from up your way)hours but boring boring and more boring
