Default oil pump o-ring
Getting parts together for my cam swap, noticed in the 07 and 08 parts manual that there is no longer an o-ring on the outside of the oil pump shown. Can anyone that pulled the plate out on an 07 or 08 verify this? Thanks.

Service manual doesnt show one in the pics either. What I read, the most important part of reassembly is oil pump alignment. Planning to do the swap myself on my 07 soon.

As easy as picking up a BLUE oil filter cause the HD shop was closed that day? Do the o-rings come in colors too? PINK Maybe?[]

Well the OE ones are a pretty brown! Bet ya I could find another color![8D]

I've got the '07 cam plate and oil pump in my '05, the outside o-ring is not needed on the '07 pump.
My o-ring was yellow. Works great, more oil pressure and no tensioner issuesto deal with.
