mopar7, you will be looking in the hendricks, boone or hamilition county areas.

Give my son a call. He is a realtor in that area.

Look in the Brownsburg area Zionsville...Westfield...Pittsboro..Danville...Leb anon..Crawfordsville..Sheridan.

Depends on how far you wanna drive..I am not sure exactly where in Boone County they are gonna build...

But, Zionsvile, Brownsburg, Lebanon, Crawfordsville are good...Westfield, Pittsboro, Danville and Sheridan out alittle further.

More pricy places..Zionsville, and Westfield Brownsburg are prolly the more priceier places..in that order..still some nice land and all out there...Pittsboro...Danville..Sheridan..Prolly the least expensive and still have the most land..more rural areas...Lebanon and Crawfordsville...Blue collar/ farming towns...all have farming, I guess just bigger than the least expensive places... Zionsville and Westfield have a mix of blue collar and higher income..Higher income especially in Zionsville...Google Earth and goto Indiana...and goto the NW side of INDY..you will see Boone County, follow 65 up...All of these places are pretty close to INDY 1/2 hour to 45 minutes...Not too much more of a drive to get heading south I just do not think you'd enjoy the traffic coming and going from say Greenwood to Boone County every day..Unless you start at work at 6am and leave at 2 or 3 pm...

This forum has been a big help for my Indy move. I found a home in Pittsboro near Brownsburg. Can anyone inform me on Pittsboro like schools, home resale, taxes, and crime rate? It will be very convenient to travel up 267 to my work location.

No Idea about Pittsboro, but if you want help from a realtor south of Indy let me know.

I live on the north west side of Indy ,and I would not look at Zionsville because of price, and taxes.
If you are wanting to live far away from work just to get to Tenn. I would think about living as close to work as you can, because the construction is going to be bad this summer.
If you would like me to look at some housing for you PM me, and I will see what is around.

Well I can tell you that Pittsboro's crime rate is almost nonexistent, Brownsburg is the new Drag Racing capitol of the U.S. ,and I would bet that some of those racers will be looking for homes just like you are in a few years, so I would think that the resale value would be good.
