Won't matter much which brand since Sirius and XM are about to merge in a month or so, to get the goverments approval they have agreed to lower sub. prices too. Buy your Sirius stock now while its cheap and you might just pickup some cash for more bling! Selling at 3.50 projected by the best people to hit 6.00 or better after the merge. This is just a opinion, buy at own risk

I bought the Delphi RoadyXT, one of the smallest XM recievers made and dirt cheap atWal-Mart. I use it in both cars, at work, and until recently had it handlebar mounted on my Ultra Classic and ran the output to the Aux input on the HD radio. I love XM, especially on trips, so I ended up payin the $500 for the onboard XM radio to work with the Harmon Kardon radio on the Harley. Still use the RoadyXT in my cars and at work and I recommend it for bike use. Some of the buttons are kinda small for using with thick gloves but after I got used to it, I just picked a station I liked and left it alone. I'd gotten away from radio completely until I tried XM.
What was the labor cost. Was it an hour job for them?
I did it myself, easy to do. I took the fairing shell off to get to a hot lead and mount the XM antenna pod on top of the HK radio, but if you ran power from the cig lighter and mounted the antenna external, you would even have to do that.

I was quoted 1.5 hrs to install HD's XM
I mounted that myself, they're fudging, it only took me about 30 minutes and I was taking my time, coulda done it in less time if I wanted to. It takes longer to take the fairing shell off and replace it than to mount and hook the radio module up.
