Default Road King Custom Question

Can you remove the Road King name plate off the side of the bag without destroying the bag? Will there be a couple of mounting holes left?

My guess is they're glued on. Can't imagine removing them without leaving a mark. I scuff mine frequently with just afingernail during opening.

Maybe cover it with some matching leather? I dunno. The RK classic bags dont have that emblem I think.

The name plate has studs on the back that go through holes in the side of the bag and held on with clips.
