Maybe a dumb question. If so, well then so be it. Do the saddlebags on a Road King and a Road King Classic fit the other model without mods? For example could I take the hard bags off a Road King and fit them right on my RKC?
Yes you can, and I plan to do just that so I have a pair of hards and a pair of leathers. I 'll just get the hards off ebay and get em painted 2 tone root beer to match.
I have a set of hard cop bags for my FLHRC. I like to switch them up and change the look of the bike. The only thing you will have to do is adjust the brackets. Nice and easy.
This is what the Road King Custom bags look like on a Deluxe. Way better than the normal bags for that model.
Those are Road King Classic Bags....
Adjusting the brackets is all it takes. Its easiest to take a sharpie and put a little tell mark on the brackets and the frame so you can quickly change back and forth. Its a pain in the butt to get the brackets lined up if you plan to switch back and forth regularly.
