Thanks.

ORIGINAL: peddler

Yes it does. '07 Goldwing 856lbs. dry weight,
'08 Ultra 814lbs. Honda doesn't, as yet, publish the dry weight of an '08 Wing. Not sure why not.

I had the Wheeldock center stand put on in Sturgis last year and I love it. It is great for all the stated things but...what I really like is to have a place to sit. Ever want to just sit and bike and people watch? It is great! Keep in mind it does not work everywhere. You have to have a good flat piece of pavement. I like mine. 06 FLHTCUI Dragon Fly Green 95" SE Heads S&S .570G

I have seen Beast's bike and other than the color it is a nice bike. The center stand is hardly visible, no clunky hardware sticking out at odd angles. It is a beauty.

Bought a VwowV on Ebay a few months ago and have it on my '07 FLH Standard . They're listed there now { item # 140190901506 } for $169.99+ ship. It mounts in 10 minutes to the crossmember , powdercoated black and a quality piece. The foot rod comes up near the primary cover, but hardly noticeable and is easy to use ....I like it !

From what I've read on this site, the Wheeldock will go on in about five minutes. The Harley center stand takes half an afternoon, due to the fact you have to remove some exhaust?

Thanks for the headsup, roofuss. That's a good price compared to the others! I note that this stand does not have the adjustable legs from what I can see?

No, I don't believe so , Its an easy install and easy to use . I can get my Standard up without a lot of hassle. If you need to get the rear wheel completely off the ground you will need to put a shim / small spacer under the feet to do so . I have bike jack for that ........

I installed the HD Centerstand. Only reason i went with it is it's adjustable. I can leave the rear tire on the ground or lift it up a bit, when in the raised position. And yes i know you can put a board under the wheeldock, to accomplish the same thing.

The HD one (whoever really makes it), looks real nice and tucks under the passenger floorboard and frame.

Personally tho, i haven't used it as much as i thought i would.

I installed the Wheeldock the other day, in one word, outstanding !
It iswell engineered, well built and works as described in the advertising. I'm 5'7" and can get the Glide up while still straddling the seat and placing my left foot and weight on the foot lever. I've had many Japanese bikes, and this easier to place on the stand than any of those. If you chose to place the stand down from the left side of the bike, it is almost effortless.

As for the video and hill question, my garage floor is perfectly level and I have a slight hill on my driveway, equally as easy to get down. I was a little worried about dismounting, drove off as advertised, some small effort to rock it out, which is good, you don't want it to come off too easily if you are packing the bags, cleaning or have somebody sitting on your bike.

Also, the 1/2" piece of wood is the only way to get the rear tire off the ground. I tried 3/8", not enough, and 3/4", too much, could'nt lift the bike. And, you do have to do that lifting from the side of the bike. I would like to see them engineer an accessory spacer kit that would slip onto the feet so you could keep them with the bike if needed on the road.

All in all, the stand worked exactly as described, well worth the money. Cleaning my bike today was so much easier upright !
