I'd like to see some bigger pics of your bike it looks good from the pic. I am working on the wheels now.

 

the black stock inner fairing is so hard to clean paint is a must.

HD treats us RG owners like Red Headed Step Kids.

They don't offer it so I'm having my RG custom painted right now, and of course doing the inner and installing all new Spun Aluminum Gauges and Wild1 10" Apes.

I'll post some pix when I get it back.

 

I'll post some pics in the next couple of days of an '08 RG, crimson red, that received a painted inner fairing--the bike is currently on a lift in the Service Dept. of my dealer getting lots of new stuff added pre-delivery (not to me--one of the sales guys).

But that painted inner fairing looked GRRREEEAAATTT--as Tony the Tiger used to say.

 

I have a Black and Smokey Gold - Inner is painted gloss Black - It does look nice when clean - since its black - it is a dust magnet... if you and I were side by side - I would swap you for your stock inner... So, if you are in the Turlock, Ca area.... lol...

Its nice if you keep it clean...


Keep in mind - to get it painted YOU must take it all apart first... not hard but takes TIME

 

I think the inner fairing painted makes a huge difference in looks and well worth the money.

 

I don't have the back wheel on yet I'm waiting for painted parts
