Another exaust ?
Getting an ultraclassic 08 in Feb. Decided on Rineharts Bud 7 the question is tru dual or crossover both sound great prefer increased low end to mid range torque as opposed to high end, so the cross over looks good. Question is if I choosecross over why not keep the OEM and put on the slip on or is there a benefit to the Rinehart crossover system. Appreciate any advice
Thanks
Thanks
Rinehart & BUB 7 are 2 different systems - Made by the same company (BUB) - I would go with the BUB 7's as I have (as well as many here) have had problems with the rinehart's....
The True Duals will help in reducing the heat build-up in the rear cylinder area (and that's a big + if your riding 2-up in the heat of the summer)

The factory system is not a crossover at all. It is a 2 into one with a T attached to the side of the rear
cylinder pipe. Thats why about 80% comes out right side muffler and 20% out of left. Its not a balanced
design! Take a close look, you'll see what I mean.
I put on V&H dresser duals and sold the factory junk on ebay for almost $100. Less heat and a clean look.
People claim you will lose torque but I did not lose any. The sound is the best part, like Harley in stereo!
Vance and Hines will work with any mufflers that will fit the stock pipes!
