i have reinhart true duals on my 2005 electra glide, i have about 15.000 miles on them and started to hear a rattling noise coming from them at the end cap, when i pulled the end cap off i found that the baffle had worn the aluminum end cap, and that the baffles were loose inside the cap, which let them rattle, one of my friend who rides has the same problem, and he has about the same miles on his bike, has anyone had this problem? Bub, claims that it hasnt been a problem.
I've got about 35 to 40k on my Rineharts T/D's on my '03 Ultra. The motor has a 103" stroker plus some other performance enhancers. I do get a little tinny sound when I first start the motor, but after a warm up, the tinny sound goes away. I am running the quitest baffles though and have not tried the other baffles since first hearing the noise to see if it's the baffles or the caps.
