IDS story finished
I reported right after Thanksgiving that I had an IDS installed on my 07 EGC under the Elbow Grease program, but had no strong opinions as to how it affected my scoot because the ride home from the dealer was short, and every weekend since it has been raining. Well, today the weather was perfecthere in Nashville(no rain & low 60's), so I took a vacation day & went riding. WOW !!!!!!!!! The IDS works. My EG now feels just like the description reads in the Harley parts book. The Elbow Grease program ends 12/31/07, so if you're not a wrench (I'm not), then get with your dealer & take advantage of free installation, and make your 07 a smooooother ride.

Glad you like the IDS as much as I do. So worth it imo! I'm not really a wrench either but the install was not bad at all with a lift and saved $$$ buying from Zanottis even with the elbow grease discount.Either way get it done and ride happy

Just a reminder to those in MD, PA and close to the Gettysburg area..Battlefield HD sells it for the same price as Zanotti's and you can use the elbow grease for the free install...

I installed the IDS on my 07 Ultra 3 months ago and in my opinion was well worth the money spent. I had the 5th gear rock crunchin sound in mine before IDS. Now nothing but smooth riding.

I had mine done aboutfive weeks ago and really didn't notice a big difference. I like the concept and beleive it will make a difference on down the road. I plan on keeping my ultra for a long time.
